Speech Language Pathologist

Join Our Team at Bronte Health and Rehab Center!

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Speech Language Pathologist to lead, guide, and direct the delivery of speech language pathology and audiology services in our facility. As a Speech Language Pathologist at Bronte Health and Rehab Center, you will be responsible for planning, developing, organizing, implementing, evaluating, and directing the delivery of speech language pathology and audiology services to our residents.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan, develop, organize, implement, evaluate, and direct the delivery of speech language pathology and audiology services in accordance with current state and federal laws and regulations

  • Coordinate the achievement and reporting of key performance indicators for the speech language pathology and audiology department

  • Develop and implement processes and systems to effectively lead, guide, and direct the delivery of speech language pathology and audiology services

  • Evaluate and report key performance indicator outcomes to the rehabilitation director

  • Provide resident information needed for the resident assessment instrument and prior functioning in functional cognition

  • Ensure speech language pathology and audiology equipment is stored, used, and sanitized properly

  • Participate in daily, weekly, and/or monthly rehabilitative and interdisciplinary team meetings

  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with residents, employees, and family members

  • Maintain accountability in concert with applicable standards of practice, by-laws, and code of conduct

Requirements:

  • Valid, unrestricted license in your therapy discipline in the state

  • Meet educational requirements of your licensure requirements

  • Valid driver's license in the state of employment

  • Knowledgeable of skilled nursing home regulations, procedures, laws, regulations, and guidelines pertaining to long-term care
