- 8-hour shifts – Monday to Friday and weekends as needed
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and fix malfunctions and conduct regular maintenance to ensure vehicles are in optimal condition.
- Communicate with parts departments to obtain necessary parts.
- Record all work performed and recommended on repair orders.
- Road test vehicles to ensure repairs are effective.
- Communicate clearly with service advisors and team members
- Participate in manufacturer-sponsored training programs.
- Keep vehicles and shop areas clean.
- Manage dealership-owned tools and manuals
- Stay up-to-date with industry standards and best practices in diesel technology.
Job Requirements:
- 1+ year experience as a Diesel Technician or Mechanic
- Strong knowledge of diesel engines, drivetrains, and truck systems
- Ability to diagnose issues using scan tools and diagnostic equipment
- Valid driver’s license (CDL preferred but not required)
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs. and work in a busy shop environment
- Reliable, teamâ€'oriented, and committed to highâ€'quality workmanship
