Early Childhood Teacher

The Growing Tree is looking to add to our team. We are seeking an additional teacher for our toddler room. This addition will allow us to have low staff-child ratios and ensure all staff can manage to have a good work-life balance. This position can be full or part-time but must be 5 days a week. We are a Center-based childcare and preschool in Addison, VT. We have only two classrooms: a preschool and a toddler room.

• Know and follow CDD Child Care Licensing Regulations
• Being responsible for the care and supervision of children.
• Planning, preparing, and implementing a curriculum that aligns with the Vermont Early Learning Standards/TSG
• Maintaining a clean and organized classroom.
• Healthy classroom management skills.
• Develop positive relationships with children, co-workers, families, and external personnel.
• Consistently come to work and be a positive team member.

• Must pass a criminal background check & fingerprinting through the VT Child Care Development Division
• Infant/Child First Aid & CPR Certified or willing to take upon hire.
• Completed Vermont Orientation, Mandated Reporter, and Medication Administration trainings.
• Will need to have or take the Fundamentals Course: OR have related coursework.
