What You'll Do
Your Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans and hands-on learning activities for daily instruction
- Ensure a safe, clean, and engaging classroom environment that fosters growth and development
- Support children's social-emotional development through positive guidance and role modeling
- Build strong, respectful relationships with families to ensure open communication and collaboration
- Mentor and guide assistant teachers to ensure consistency and quality in the classroom
- Uphearld strong values of warmth, professionalism, and child-centered care in all aspects of your work
Requirements
Essential Qualifications
- A reliable educator who genuinely loves working with young children and is dedicated to creating a positive learning environment
- Strong classroom management and communication skills to effectively engage with children, families, and staff
- Experience planning developmentally appropriate activities and routines to meet the diverse needs of young learners
- Prior experience in an early childhood setting, including the ability to lead assistant teachers and foster a collaborative classroom team
- A CDA, Associate’s, or Bachelor’s in Early Childhood Education (or related field), or equivalent experience
- Prior experience in an early childhood setting required
