About This Role

We are seeking a dedicated and caring Infant Co-Teacher to join our early childhood team at Timberline Learning Center. As a co-teacher, you will work in partnership with a mentor teacher to create a nurturing environment that encourages children to explore, learn, and grow. You will be responsible for observing and evaluating children's development, supporting the lead teacher in planning, and fostering a sense of community and belonging. This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of young learners and their families, while also growing as an educator.

Inspired by the Reggio Emilia approach, our staff believe in the potential of children to learn, create, and make sense of the world. Timberline Learning Center is an early childhood school located in Breckenridge, Colorado, serving children from six weeks to six years old. What You'll Do

As an Infant Co-Teacher, you will play a vital role in creating a safe and supportive environment that promotes social, emotional, and cognitive growth. You will facilitate engaging and interactive learning experiences, build strong relationships with children and families, and contribute to the development of a responsive and inclusive classroom. You will work collaboratively with the lead teacher to plan and implement curriculum, ensuring that every child feels valued, respected, and encouraged to learn.



Requirements

  • Ability to pass comprehensive background check (fingerprinting and child abuse registry)
  • Demonstrated flexibility, problem-solving abilities, and organizational skills
  • Full-time, year-round availability
  • Strong communication skills (oral, written, and digital)
  • Stable housing in Summit County or surrounding areas
  • Growth mindset with commitment to ongoing professional development


Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in early childhood education or a related field
  • Minimum one year of experience working with infants and toddlers (ages 0-3)
  • Colorado Shines PDIS Level 2 Credential or above
  • Current CPR and First Aid certification
  • Experience with Reggio Emilia Approach, Project Approach, or play-based learning philosophies
