About This Role
We're seeking passionate and dedicated educators to join our team at Once Upon a Time Child Care Center in Verona, WI. We're looking for Lead Teachers, Assistant Teachers, and Support Staff to fill part-time positions in our classrooms. We have several openings available, including part-time teachers for the 7:00am - 9:00am or 2:30/3:00-5:30 shifts, Monday through Friday. What You'll Do
- Engage children in play and learning activities, utilizing a variety of materials and resources to promote exploration and imagination.
- Provide personalized care and attention to meet the unique needs of each child, including feeding, dressing, and toileting.
- Develop and implement lesson plans that cater to different learning styles and abilities, promoting social, emotional, and cognitive growth.
- Establish a positive and respectful classroom environment, setting clear expectations and boundaries to ensure a safe and supportive space for all.
- Lead activities that promote physical, mental, and social development, such as arts and crafts, music, storytelling, and outdoor play.
- Prepare and maintain a well-organized and inviting classroom environment, incorporating displays and arrangements that stimulate curiosity and creativity.
- Model and demonstrate activities to children, promoting hands-on learning and exploration.
- Plan and supervise class projects, field trips, and other experiential activities, guiding students in learning from these experiences.
- Attend professional meetings, workshops, and conferences to stay current on best practices and enhance professional skills.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement educational programs that meet the needs of all students.
