About This Role

We are seeking a Lead Young Toddler teacher to join our team at Salisbury Family Center, a newly opened licensed program in Salisbury. Our center is dedicated to providing high-quality care to our children, and we are committed to supporting the growth and development of our staff. We currently have 3 classrooms and 18 children enrolled, with a focus on creating a warm and welcoming environment. This position offers an immediate start date, and we are eager to find the right candidate to lead our young toddler group.

What You'll Do

Our Lead Young Toddler teacher will be responsible for planning and implementing engaging activities to promote the cognitive, social, and emotional development of our children. This includes:

  • caring for the physical and emotional needs of the children
  • preparing and implementing a stimulating and inclusive curriculum
  • performing daily tasks such as diaper changes and cleaning
  • engaging in activities that promote physical activity and gross motor skills


Requirements

li>have taken, or be willing to take professional development trainings and college courses.

  • Previous childcare experience
