Early Care and Education Multi-Classroom Aide

Our licensed, NAEYC accredited, 5 STAR Early Care and Education Program seeks a multi-classroom aide. We are seeking a warm, caring, and positive multi-classroom aide to support the three classrooms in our excellent program. The multi-classroom aide is responsible for covering breaks, preparing spaces for the next activity, assisting teachers, and partnering with teachers to create enriching, exciting opportunities for children aged 6 weeks to two-years-old. Classroom aides are essential support for our classes! This is an excellent entry level position for anyone looking to enter the field of early education.

• Assist teacher with meal times, and meal clean up.
• Help children during classroom transitions
• Cover Teachers break times
• Help prepare and set up spaces for activities
• Cover classrooms when teachers are absent
• Meet the care needs of children.
• Follow posted classroom schedule
• Changes children's diapers and assist children in hand washing
• Maintain NAEYC Guidelines for Best Practices and all state licensing regulations in daily operations.

• High School Diploma/GED
• Must be 18 years of age
• Fundamentals training or Intro to early childhood Education college credits (within the first year of hire).
• CPR/First aid (within the first year of hire).
• Vermont orientation Training (within the first year of hire).
• Able to pass a background check and fingerprints
• Experience working with children under the age of 3 and their parents
• Willingness to take Early childhood professional development yearly and continue their educational journey.
• Ability to be flexible and cover classrooms as needed.
