What You'll Do

  • Create a stimulating and engaged learning environment that fosters growth and development, while assisting children in their overall development
  • Develop and maintain ongoing professional communication with children and their families, building strong relationships and trust
  • Observe and record progress on each child, tracking their individual progress, routines, and interests
  • Provide a safe and nurturing environment that meets the needs of each child, while being attentive to their supervision and well-being
  • Meet and comply with licensing requirements and center policies, ensuring a smooth and efficient operation
  • Take on new responsibilities and adapt to changing circumstances, demonstrating flexibility and a growth mindset
  • Develop and maintain a positive and engaging atmosphere, always being willing to learn and improve


Requirements

  • Must pass a fingerprint background check
  • Ability to build rapport with children
  • Previous experience in childcare, teaching, or other related fields is a plus
  • Exhibit composure, patience, and professionalism at all times
  • Ensure children are kept active, entertained, and engaged in developmentally appropriate activities
  • Demonstrates full range of motion to: Stand and walk for extended periods of time without significant discomfort
  • Positive and patient demeanor
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in childcare, teaching, or other related fields is a plus
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices
  • Ability to safely lift and carry objects weighing up to 40 pounds
  • Passionate about working with children
  • Reach, stretch with hands and arms
  • Climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
