Job Description
GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION
Responsible for assisting golfers in the golf garage.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Be an Ambassador for FGCC by providing excellent guest service.
• Check in members and guests for TrackMan Simulator play.
• Advise guests of rules regarding attire, golf clubs, supplies and rules and regulations.
• Promote the sale of lessons, TrackMan usage, and club repair with each transaction.
• Record all sales transactions.
• Keep shop neat and clean and maintain a professional appearance.
• Answer phones with proper etiquette and field questions from callers/golfers.
• Make on the day of tee times for the TrackMan Simulators by phone calls or in person.
• Assist customers in booking lessons with Adam or other professionals.
• Maintain billing charges of members and guests; submit billing charges to Accounting Department in a timely manner.
• Assist in packing and unpacking inventory.
• Setting up TrackMan Simulator for golfers.
• Take club repair orders and contact customers when clubs are ready.
• Other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
• High School Diploma or GED
• Customer service experience
• Retail experience preferred.
• Knowledge of golf preferred.
• Trackman Simulator experience preferred.
• Point of Sale experience a plus.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and related software.

• N/A
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
• Prolonged periods of walking and standing for extended periods of time.
• Must be able to lift 25 pounds at a time (more with assistance)
