Homebound is looking for a motivated Carpenter Apprentice who wants to build a long-term career in the construction industry—not just find another job.
As a Carpenter Apprentice, you'll work alongside experienced carpenters on residential remodeling and construction projects while completing the Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) Apprenticeship Program. This is a hands-on, earn-while-you-learn opportunity that provides classroom instruction, on-the-job training, and a clear path toward becoming a skilled journeyman carpenter. Our goal is to be the place that gives you a path to grow with homebound or give you the skills to start your own company if that's what makes sense in your situation.
What You'll Do
Assist with residential remodeling and carpentry projects
Learn framing, finish carpentry, siding, roofing, and other construction skills
Safely operate hand and power tools
Maintain a clean and organized job site
Work alongside experienced craftsmen who are invested in your success
Attend and successfully complete the ABC apprenticeship curriculum

Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
Reliable transportation
Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physical work
No experience required—we'll teach the right person
