Experienced Bridge Carpenters – Immediate Openings

Location: Lakeland / Central Florida

$28.00–$36.00 per hour (DOE) | Full-Time | Weekly Pay | Overtime Available

We are seeking experienced Bridge Carpenters to join our team on heavy civil and bridge construction projects throughout Central Florida. If you have experience building and setting bridge forms, working with structural concrete, and thrive in a fast-paced construction environment, we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities

• Build, install, and remove wood and metal forms for bridge decks, columns, caps, footings, abutments, retaining walls, and other structural concrete.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and project specifications.
• Measure, cut, and assemble formwork accurately.
• Assist with layout, form alignment, and concrete placement operations.
• Work safely around cranes, heavy equipment, and elevated work areas.
• Maintain tools and equipment while following all company and OSHA safety standards.
• Collaborate with superintendents, foremen, and other craft professionals to complete projects on schedule.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of bridge carpentry experience.
• Experience on bridge, highway, or heavy civil construction projects is required.
• Experience with gang forms, Symons forms, or other bridge form systems is preferred.
• Ability to read construction plans and work with minimal supervision.
• Must be able to lift 50+ pounds and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Reliable transportation to and from the job site.
• Strong work ethic, dependable attendance, and commitment to quality craftsmanship.
