The Front Desk Agent plays a crucial role in ensuring a welcoming and efficient experience for all guests. Working within a medium-sized team of 4-7 agents and reporting directly to the Hotel Manager, this role requires flexibility in scheduling to accommodate the needs of the hotel. The Front Desk Agent manages reservations, handles guest check-ins and check-outs, resolves complaints, and provides excellent customer service to create a positive first impression.

 

Responsibilities

  • Manage guest check-in and check-out processes efficiently
  • Handle reservations and maintain accurate booking records
  • Provide prompt customer support and address guest inquiries
  • Process payments accurately using Point of Sale (POS) systems
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the lobby area
  • Answer phone calls and direct them appropriately
  • Resolve guest complaints with professionalism and care
  • Deliver excellent customer service to enhance guest satisfaction

 

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in customer service
  • Strong customer service and reservation management skills
  • Effective communication and problem-solving abilities
  • Efficient time management and multitasking capabilities
  • Conflict resolution expertise
  • Familiarity with Point of Sale (POS) systems
  • Ability to work well within a team

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
