Job Description
This role focuses on safely moving finished materials from production lines to yard inventory using a forklift, while working primarily outdoors. You will also cross-train in the production area to provide coverage when needed, supporting smooth operations across the facility.
Responsibilities
- Operate a forklift to transport finished materials from production lines to designated inventory areas in the yard.
- Work outdoors approximately 90% of the time, safely maneuvering equipment and materials in all weather conditions.
- Load and unload materials efficiently, ensuring accurate placement and adherence to safety procedures.

- Maintain a clean, organized work area in both outdoor yard and indoor production spaces.
- Follow all safety guidelines and operational procedures to prevent accidents and damage to materials or equipment.
- Communicate with production and yard teams to coordinate material flow and resolve issues promptly.
- At least 1 year of outdoor work experience, preferably in a physically demanding role.
- Comfort working outdoors in all weather conditions for the majority of the shift.
- Experience with loading and unloading materials in a production or yard environment.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and general labor tasks safely.
- Basic familiarity with production processes and material handling.
- Reliability and flexibility to cross-train and cover different roles as needed.
- Approximately 6 months of production experience is a plus.
- Approximately 6 months of machine operation experience is a plus.
- Previous experience in construction, general labor, or similar environments is beneficial.
- Willingness to obtain additional licenses and certifications provided by the company.
You will join a team that actively promotes from within, giving you clear opportunities to advance your career and take on more responsibility over time. The company invests in your growth by providing additional licenses and certifications, helping you build valuable skills. You can also enjoy a sense of community through company-provided meals and outings several times per year, fostering a supportive and engaging workplace culture.
Work Environment
You will work outdoors approximately 90% of the time in all weather conditions, operating a forklift and handling materials in a yard setting.
