Associate Attorney

A nationally recognized law firm with a premier construction and infrastructure practice is seeking a motivated Associate Attorney to join its Miami office. This is an exceptional opportunity for an attorney who is passionate about litigation and interested in developing a sophisticated construction law practice within a collaborative and entrepreneurial environment.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and support all phases of litigation and dispute resolution matters.
  • Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests and responses, briefs, and legal memoranda.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis on complex construction and commercial issues.
  • Participate in depositions, mediations, arbitrations, and court appearances.
  • Assist with contract review, risk management, and dispute avoidance strategies.
  • Collaborate closely with senior attorneys and clients on case strategy and business objectives.
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships through responsive and practical legal counsel.

Qualifications

  • J.D. from an accredited law school.
  • Active membership in the Florida Bar (or ability to obtain admission promptly).
  • 2+ years of litigation experience preferred.
  • Experience in construction law, commercial litigation, government contracts, or related practice areas is a plus.
  • Excellent legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills.
  • Strong analytical abilities and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines and work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
