Job Description
The Press Operator is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining press machinery to produce high-quality parts in accordance with company standards and production schedules. This position requires attention to detail, adherence to safety protocols, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is for the second shift, typically operating during afternoon/evening hours.
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate press machines according to production specifications and work orders.
- Load raw materials and unload finished products from press equipment.
- Monitor machine operations to ensure quality standards and detect defects.
- Perform routine inspections and quality checks using measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges, etc.).
- Adjust machine settings as needed to maintain product specifications and efficiency.
- Troubleshoot minor mechanical issues and report major issues to maintenance or supervision.
- Maintain accurate production and quality records.
- Follow all safety policies, procedures, and guidelines.
- Keep work area clean, organized, and compliant with 5S standards.
- Collaborate with team members, supervisors, and quality personnel to meet production goals.
- Experience in press brake, machine operation, and machine operating.
- Ability to work in production environments and use blueprint, punch press.
- Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and technical instructions.
- Familiarity with measuring tools and quality inspection processes.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience operating press or similar manufacturing equipment preferred.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.90 - $18.90/hr.
