Job Description
Machine Operator – Food & Beverage ProductionPrimary Duties
- Set up, operate, and monitor production equipment, including fermentation, evaporation, drying, and packaging machines.
- Enter production specifications and operating parameters through computerized machine controls.
- Perform basic troubleshooting, minor mechanical adjustments, and production line changeovers.
- Load raw materials and unload finished products.
- Complete batch records and accurately enter production data into computer systems.
- Conduct quality checks to ensure products meet company standards.
- Clean and sanitize equipment to maintain food safety and GMP compliance.
- Collaborate with Quality Control (QC) and Research & Development (R&D) teams to support production goals.
Required Experience
- Previous machine operation experience, preferably in a food or beverage manufacturing environment.
- Experience with machine setup, operation, breakdowns, and changeovers.
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting and maintenance skills.
- Ability to follow batch records, SOPs, and detailed production procedures.
- Experience working under Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).

- Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving abilities.
- Computer proficiency, including data entry and Microsoft Office/Excel.
- Basic math and measurement skills.
- Strong attention to detail and quality focus.

Work Environment
The position is based in a production-focused manufacturing facility for food and beverage products. You will work both inside and outside of the facility, spending much of your time on or around production lines and processing equipment. The role may require climbing ladders to reach the tops of machines for observation and monitoring. Environmental conditions vary by area; some zones can become very hot while others can be very cold, depending on the process and equipment in use. The work involves operating fermentation, evaporation, drying, and packing machinery, as well as using computer interfaces and standard production tools. Shifts typically run from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. or 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m., with later transition to 3:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. or 11:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m., requiring flexibility to work different shift schedules in a 24/7 production environment.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.50 - $20.50/hr.
