As a Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (RN), you will play a vital role in supporting patients and families through one of life’s most meaningful experiences. You will provide compassionate, patient-centered care throughout the labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum process, ensuring the safety and well-being of both mother and newborn. This role requires strong clinical judgment, the ability to respond effectively in high-acuity situations, and a commitment to teamwork and family-focused care. Education/Experience
\nMinimum Required:
\n- \n
- A graduate of an accredited school of Nursing \n
Preferred:
\n- \n
- Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing \n
- Previous clinical nursing experience in an acute care or ambulatory setting \n
License/Certification
Minimum Required:
\n- \n
- Current NYS RN License \n
Preferred:
\n- \n
- Professional certification in a related nursing specialty \n
- Relevant skills certification (i.e., ACLS, PALS, TNCC) as required by home unit assigned. \n
Work Environment
\n- \n
- Work is performed in an office environment and patient care areas which require working in proximity to other employees and patients. \n
- Rooms are air conditioned and heated. \n
- Frequent walking, standing, bending and lifting. \n
- Fast paced environment with frequent interruptions. \n
- Exposure to equipment cleaning solutions and disinfectants. \n
- PPE (Eyewear, Masks, Face shields, Shoe covers, and Gloves) as required by Infection Control policies \n
