Recent Graduate Clinical Fellow CF Speech-Language Pathologist

Job Summary
Fairview Skilled Rehab & Nursing Home is seeking a recent graduate Clinical Fellow (CF) Speech-Language Pathologist to join our rehabilitation team. This position is designed for a recent master's-level graduate who is completing the required 36-week Clinical Fellowship under the supervision of an experienced Speech-Language Pathologist. The CF will provide speech, language, cognitive, voice, and swallowing evaluations and treatment while developing the skills needed for independent clinical practice.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat residents with speech, language, cognitive-communication, voice, and swallowing disorders.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.

• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.

• Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, rehabilitation professionals, residents, and families.

• Participate in interdisciplinary care planning and team meetings.

• Complete the Clinical Fellowship under the guidance of an experienced supervising Speech-Language Pathologist.

Qualifications

• Recent graduate with a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.

• Eligible for or currently holding a New York State Speech-Language Pathology license with Clinical Fellow (CF) status.

• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

• Compassionate, motivated, and eager to learn.

• Skilled nursing or rehabilitation experience is a plus but not required.
