We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our growing finance team. This position is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial reports, assisting with month-end close, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and journal entries

• Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes

• Reconcile bank accounts, general ledger accounts, and balance sheet accounts

• Prepare financial statements and supporting schedules

• Analyze financial data and identify discrepancies

• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting

• Support accounts payable and accounts receivable functions as needed

• Ensure compliance with GAAP and company accounting policies

• Assist with audits and provide requested documentation

• Maintain confidentiality of financial information

• Collaborate with department leaders to support financial operations

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required

• CPA or CPA candidate preferred, but not required

• Previous accounting experience preferred; recent graduates are encouraged to apply

• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting

• Experience with accounting software (QuickBooks experience is a plus)

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suite

• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills

• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
