AllStar Therapies is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our rehabilitation team on a PRN basis. This is an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful impact by helping patients improve communication, cognitive function, and swallowing abilities in a skilled nursing and rehabilitation setting.

Responsibilities
  • Evaluate patients and develop individualized speech therapy treatment plans

  • Assess and treat speech, language, cognitive, communication, and swallowing disorders

  • Provide therapy services in accordance with physician orders and established plans of care

  • Accurately document evaluations, treatment sessions, progress notes, and discharge summaries

  • Educate patients, families, and caregivers on treatment plans and home strategies

  • Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, rehabilitation team members, and families to ensure coordinated care

  • Participate in interdisciplinary care planning and maintain compliance with all state, federal, and company regulations

Qualifications
  • Current Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license in the state of practice

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program

  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; Clinical Fellowship candidates may be considered based on facility needs

  • Skilled nursing or rehabilitation experience preferred, but not required

  • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills

  • CPR certification preferred
