AllStar Therapies is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our rehabilitation team on a PRN basis. This is an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful impact by helping patients improve communication, cognitive function, and swallowing abilities in a skilled nursing and rehabilitation setting.
ResponsibilitiesEvaluate patients and develop individualized speech therapy treatment plans
Assess and treat speech, language, cognitive, communication, and swallowing disorders
Provide therapy services in accordance with physician orders and established plans of care
Accurately document evaluations, treatment sessions, progress notes, and discharge summaries
Educate patients, families, and caregivers on treatment plans and home strategies
Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, rehabilitation team members, and families to ensure coordinated care
Participate in interdisciplinary care planning and maintain compliance with all state, federal, and company regulations
Current Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license in the state of practice
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; Clinical Fellowship candidates may be considered based on facility needs
Skilled nursing or rehabilitation experience preferred, but not required
Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
CPR certification preferred
