Roles & Responsibilities

• Prepare and process tissue specimens for microscopic examination
• Perform routine and special staining techniques with precision
• Operate and maintain histology equipment to ensure quality results
• Collaborate with pathologists and lab team to support accurate diagnoses
• Maintain detailed records and follow strict quality control protocols

Qualifications

• ASCP certification as a Histotechnician (HT) or Histotechnologist (HTL) preferred
• Previous experience in a histology laboratory setting
• Proficiency with Epic laboratory information systems required
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in tissue embedding, microtomy, and cryotomy
• Knowledge of safety and infection control practices
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Effective communication and documentation skills
