We’re seeking a skilled Cath Lab Technologist to support diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures in Athens, GA. Job Details- Position: Cath Lab Technologist
- Location: Athens
- Contract Length: 13 Weeks
- Shift: Day Shift
- Schedule: 5x8
- Experience Required: 1 Year
- Weekly Pay: $2570 to $2770
- Assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures
- Prepare the Cath Lab by ensuring all equipment, instruments, and supplies are ready for procedures
- Operate fluoroscopy and specialized imaging equipment during cardiovascular procedures
- Scrub and circulate during cardiac, vascular, and peripheral interventional cases
- Monitor patients' vital signs and hemodynamic status throughout procedures
- Prepare and administer contrast media according to physician orders and facility protocols
- Maintain sterile technique and follow infection prevention and radiation safety guidelines
- Assist with patient preparation, positioning, recovery, and post-procedure care
- Document procedure details accurately in the electronic medical record
- Perform routine equipment quality checks and report maintenance issues
- Collaborate with cardiologists, registered nurses, radiologic technologists, and other healthcare professionals to provide exceptional patient care
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology or Cardiovascular Technology program
- Current ARRT (R) Certification or RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) credential preferred
- Active Georgia license if required by state regulations
- Minimum 1 year of recent Cath Lab Technologist experience
- Current BLS Certification required
- ACLS Certification required
- Experience assisting with diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures
- Strong knowledge of cardiovascular anatomy, hemodynamic monitoring, sterile technique, and radiation safety
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced procedural environment
- Commitment to delivering exceptional patient-centered care
