Cath Lab Technologist

Location: Tacoma, Washington

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM with 8-10 days of call in a 6-week period

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $83 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

• Scrub and assist during right and left heart cath procedures with or without intervention
• Monitor and document patient vitals and procedural details using EPIC and MacLab systems
• Support structural heart and vascular cases including TAVR and mitral clip procedures
• Assist with IABP and Impella insertions requiring specialized knowledge
• Collaborate with the care team across Cath Lab and EP suites for seamless patient care
• Participate in on-call rotation to support after-hours emergencies

Qualifications

• RCIS, RT, or RCES certification required
• Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab experience
• Procedural experience with the ability to scrub, monitor, and document
• Preferred experience with sedation and Phase 1 recovery
• ICU or PACU experience is a plus
• EPIC experience preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong understanding of GE imaging equipment
• Ability to work collaboratively in a combined Cath Lab and EP unit
• Comfortable floating between procedure areas as needed
• Team-oriented mindset with flexibility to stay past scheduled end times when cases run long
