Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited educational program.
  • Active Kentucky Occupational Therapy license required to start the position.
  • BLS Certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
  • Experience working in outpatient pediatric or mixed pediatric-to-young-adult settings preferred.
  • Experience providing 1:1 therapy and managing caseloads in an outpatient clinic.
  • Comfort working with children and young adults who present a range of behaviors; ability to collaborate with ABA, SLP, and mental health teams.
  • Willingness to work flexible day schedules (typical Monday–Friday 8:00 AM–5:00 PM; options for 3x12, 4- or 5-day schedules available while urgent need exists).
  • Familiarity with Fusion EMR preferred.
  • Ability to supervise COTAs is a plus and may affect compensation and responsibilities.

Schedule and Caseload

  • Primary shift: Days. Typical schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM.
  • Flexible scheduling options available (3x12, 4-day, or 5-day) during urgent staffing needs.
  • Primarily 1:1 therapy for SLP and OT. Occasional group sessions may occur.


Compensation Details

  • Competitive annual compensation commensurate with experience and responsibilities, including supervision of COTAs where applicable.
  • Evaluation and session rates discussed during recruitment interviews.


Clinic and Team Overview

  • Outpatient pediatric-focused practice that integrates ABA, SLP, OT, and mental health services in a single clinic model.
  • 50% Medicaid patient base. Clinic serves infants through early-adult populations.
  • Team-oriented environment. Candidates should be collaborative, ethical, child-friendly, and comfortable engaging with interdisciplinary colleagues to achieve patient goals.
  • Owner-operated clinic with recent ownership and active local leadership supporting growth.
