Framing Carpenter

We’re seeking a Framing Carpenter to join our team and help deliver exceptional results on residential builds.

Position Overview
The Framing Carpenter will be responsible for measuring, cutting, and assembling wood and other materials to construct the framework of residential structures. This role requires a strong knowledge of carpentry techniques, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently as part of a construction crew.

Key Responsibilities

• Construct, assemble, and install walls, floors, roofs, and structural frameworks according to plans and specifications
• Read and interpret blueprints and drawings to ensure precise measurements and layouts
• Cut, shape, and join lumber and other materials using hand tools, power tools, and saws
• Install trusses, sheathing, and related framing materials
• Ensure all work meets building codes, safety standards, and project requirements
• Maintain a clean and organized job site while following company safety procedures
• Collaborate with supervisors and team members to complete projects on time

Qualifications

• 5+ years of residential framing or carpentry experience
• Strong understanding of carpentry methods, construction math, and blueprint reading
• Proficiency in the safe use of hand tools and power tools
• Ability to lift heavy materials, climb ladders, and work outdoors in various conditions
• Reliable transportation to and from job sites
• Commitment to quality craftsmanship and safety

Preferred Skills

• Experience with ground-up residential construction
• Knowledge of local building codes and inspection requirements
