Concrete Finisher

A Concrete Finisher plays a critical role in the construction process by ensuring the proper finishing and curing of concrete surfaces. This position requires skill in working with concrete to achieve smooth, durable, and visually appealing finishes while adhering to safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

Grade dirt to prepare subgrade for concrete

• Pour, smooth, and finish concrete surfaces for floors, sidewalks, roads, and other structures
• Prepare and level sub-surfaces before concrete application
• Operate tools such as screeds, trowels, and floats to achieve desired surface textures
• Monitor curing processes to ensure proper setting and strength
• Repair cracks, holes, or other imperfections in concrete surfaces
• Maintain equipment and work area in a safe and organized manner
• Follow safety protocols and wear appropriate protective gear
