Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Electrical/Electronic Technician to support our Electrical Engineering Laboratory. This role will provide hands-on technical support for complex products and equipment, including design support, fabrication, assembly, testing, inspection, troubleshooting, rework, and repair activities.

Key Responsibilities & Skills

  • Read and interpret electrical and mechanical drawings, schematics, and technical documentation.
  • Perform assembly, fabrication, testing, inspection, calibration, alignment, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical/electronic and mechanical systems.
  • Assemble, rework, and repair PCBs with surface-mount and through-hole components.
  • Fabricate electrical and mechanical components from drawings and sketches.
  • Conduct tests, collect data, analyze results, and prepare technical reports.
  • Support engineers with product development, prototype builds, equipment modifications, and testing.
  • Troubleshoot electrical, electronic, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
  • Maintain a safe work environment and comply with quality and safety standards.
  • Knowledge of IPC/WHMA-A-620 and IPC-610 standards is preferred.

Experience & Education

  • Minimum 7 years of experience as an Electrical/Electronic Technician in a production, prototype, test, or engineering environment.
  • 10+ years of experience in engineering product development or manufacturing environments preferred.
  • Associate degree or 2-year technical degree in Electrical/Electronics Technology or related field required.
