Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

Location: Clarksburg, WV
Schedule: 12-Hour Day Shift 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM or Night Shift 7:00PM - 7:00AM

The contract is for six months, renewable. Please inform them that they will be responsible for scheduling their own availability. However, the following requirements apply:

• Day shift: Must include at least one Friday and two full weekends per month, plus any other days of their choice.
• Night shift: Must include at least two Fridays and two Saturdays per month, plus any other days of their choice.

Experience Required: Minimum 1 Year CNA Experience

Job Summary

We are seeking compassionate and dependable Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to join our healthcare team in Clarksburg, West Virginia. This is a 6-month contract position with the potential for renewal based on performance and facility needs. The CNA will provide direct patient care and support nursing staff in delivering high-quality healthcare services.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding.
• Monitor and document vital signs and patient observations.
• Assist with patient mobility, transfers, and repositioning.
• Maintain accurate and timely patient records.
• Provide emotional support and ensure patient comfort and safety.
• Assist nurses with routine patient care tasks.
• Maintain a clean and safe patient environment.
• Follow all facility policies, procedures, and infection control standards.

Qualifications

• Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in West Virginia or ability to work under a valid compact/accepted credential.
• Minimum 1 year of recent CNA experience required.
• Current CPR/BLS certification preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
• Reliable attendance and professional demeanor.
