Dry Cleaning Delivery Driver

Primary Responsibilities

Delivery & Route Service

• Safely operate company vehicles.
• Pick up and deliver customer garments on scheduled routes.
• Load and unload garments carefully to prevent damage or loss.
• Verify all orders before pickup and delivery.
• Maintain accurate route logs and delivery records.
• Communicate professionally with customers during pickups and deliveries.
• Keep company vehicle clean and report maintenance issues promptly.
  

Assembly Line & Production

• Learn garment assembly procedures.
• Match cleaned garments with customer orders accurately.
• Inspect garments for quality before packaging.
• Bag, tag, and organize completed orders.
• Assist with sorting incoming garments.
• Help maintain an organized production area.
  

Front Counter Customer Service

• Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Check garments in and out using the point-of-sale system.
• Explain services, pricing, and turnaround times.
• Answer phones and assist customers with questions.
• Process payments accurately.
• Resolve customer concerns professionally.
  

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Dependable and punctual.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Comfortable learning new computer systems.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Previous customer service or delivery experience is preferred but not required.
  

Physical Requirements

• Frequent standing and walking.
• Repeated lifting, carrying, bending, and reaching.
• Ability to work both indoors and outdoors during deliveries.
• Ability to safely handle garment racks and laundry bags.

Schedule

• Full-time
• Monday through Saturday (schedule varies)
• Occasional overtime may be required during busy periods.
