About the Role
Launch your career in sales and marketing with a company that values growth, positivity, and professional development. As a Sales Representative, you'll engage with potential customers at events, retail locations, and promotional pop-up sites, introducing them to energy products and services in a fun, engaging environment.
Your primary responsibility is to educate customers about available energy solutions and enroll qualified customers using company-provided tools. You'll work closely with your Team Lead and fellow representatives to share best practices, achieve personal goals, and contribute to a positive customer experience.
This is NOT door-to-door sales or cold calling.
Responsibilities
- Promote energy and smart home solutions to residential customers
- Engage customers in a friendly, professional manner
- Educate customers on available NRG Energy offers and services
- Enroll customers using company-provided technology and tools
- Attend training sessions and team meetings
- Maintain compliance with company policies and site safety standards
- Represent the company and partner organizations with professionalism and enthusiasm
- Stay informed on market trends and current promotions
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Friendly, reliable, and ready to start immediately
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Comfortable using a tablet and learning new technology
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to travel to various locations within the greater hiring area
- Previous sales or customer service experience is a plus, but not required
- Required to take a backround test
