Medical Assistant MA/CMA - Mercy Clinic Bella Vista

Find your calling at Mercy!Under the direction of the primary care operations team, the Primary Care Patient Care RN works directly with Mercy Primary Care Providers to provide safe, timely, effective, efficient, equitable, patient-centered care in a systematic way. The Primary Care Patient Care RN will partner with patients, providers, and other members of the clinical care team to drive quality outcomes for all patients. Duties and responsibilities will be performed in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.Position Details:Qualifications:

• Medical Assistant:

  • Education: High School Diploma or GED.

  • Certification: Must obtain BLS certification within 90 days of hire.

  • Preferred Experience: 6 months of clinical healthcare experience, preferably in a physician's office.

• Certified Medical Assistant:

  • Education: High School Diploma or GED.

  • Certification: Must have active Medical Assistant certification/registration (RMA, CCMA, CMA, EMT and/or Paramedic are also accepted). Must obtain BLS certification within 90 days of hire.

Physical Requirements: 

•  Position requires the ability to push, pull, and/or lift 50 lbs on a regular basis. 

•  Position requires prolonged standing and walking during each shift. 

•  Position requires the ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties.
