Radiologic Technologist (X-Ray) - Meridian, Idaho

Degree in Radiologic Technology, Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT Certification), and minimum 1+ years Radiology Tech experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Schedule/Hours:

• 3x12 hour shifts (Saturday, Sunday, Monday)
• 5:00 AM to 5:30 PM
• One on-call shift per month required
• Holiday rotation applies to any holidays falling on scheduled workdays

Qualifications:

• Active ARRT certification
• Current BLS and PALS certifications
• Proficiency in general radiography, including strong orthopedic imaging experience
• Thorough understanding of radiation safety and aseptic techniques
• High attention to detail and ability to operate advanced imaging equipment
• Effective communication and teamwork skills

Responsibilities:

• Perform a variety of radiological procedures, with an emphasis on orthopedic exams, ensuring accuracy and quality of images
• Accurately follow physicians’ imaging orders and protocols
• Provide compassionate patient care and communicate imaging processes to patients and their families
• Maintain appropriate documentation, ensuring patient records are complete and accurate
• Monitor and maintain imaging equipment, reporting any malfunctions or concerns promptly
• Participate in call coverage as assigned and respond efficiently during call shifts
• Comply with all facility safety guidelines, especially regarding infection control and equipment operation
• Collaborate with physicians, clinicians, and fellow technologists for seamless patient care
