Maintenance Technician

Mechanical Maintenance needed in Austinburg on 1st shift. Hours will be Monday-Friday from 7am-3:30pm. Pay is starting at $22/hr and up

GENERAL DESCRIPTION
Perform maintenance and repairs for assigned equipment and facilities including plumbing, electrical, basic
carpentry, heating and cooling, and other building systems.
Inspects and identifies equipment or machines in need of repair.
Troubleshoots issues to determine necessary repairs.
Performs general repairs that do not require a specialized technician
Performs routine maintenance on building systems.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
* Use precision tools, machinery and equipment such as lathe, vertical milling machine, drill press, hydraulic press, chop saw, band saw, push and pull broaches and a variety of cutting tools and equipment
*Properly and safely select, align, secure and remove holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories, and materials onto machines
*Recognizes, deploys, and peroperly uses inserts, fixtures and tooling

WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS (Skills)
Experience with Electrical / Trouble shooting & Understanding of PLCs
Knowledge of building systems such as plumbing, electrical and HVAC
Experience in Machining /Fabricating / Welding / Hydraulics/ Tooling expierence
Must have: Good attendance / Computer Skills / Mechanical Ability / Communication Skills
Must have at least 3 years of Maintenance Experience
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
High School Diploma or equivalent or Tech School Diploma
