Clinical - Medical Assistant

Responsibilities

Greet and room patients in a timely and professional manner

Schedule appointments and answer phones efficiently

Take patient vital signs and assist with blood draws and venipuncture

Administer vaccines and provide clinical support as needed

Maintain a collaborative relationship with the healthcare team

Assist with fee collection and other administrative tasks

Support health education and outreach initiatives

Required Skills

Minimum of 1 year of medical assistant experience, including externship

Strong clinical skills, including phlebotomy and venipuncture

Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR)

Excellent attention to detail and communication skills

Strong computer proficiency

Additional Skills & Requirements

Medical Assistant Certification strongly preferred; registered as a Medication Aide highly preferred

Experience in occupational health and working with patients aged 6 and above preferred

Ability to work a flexible schedule, including specific shifts aligned with coverage needs
