Inventory Clerk

We are looking for a detail-oriented Inventory Clerk to join our team. This contract opportunity with potential for a permanent position is ideal for someone with experience in shipping, receiving, and inventory control who enjoys working in a hands-on warehouse setting. The person in this role will help keep materials moving accurately and efficiently while supporting both domestic and international logistics operations.

Responsibilities:
• Manage outgoing domestic and international shipments by preparing packaging, labels, and required transport paperwork.
• Work closely with carriers, freight partners, and customs-related service providers to arrange pickups, deliveries, and shipment movement.
• Receive inbound materials, inspect deliveries, and confirm quantities and items against packing slips and purchase orders.
• Monitor shipping activity and communicate timely status updates to appropriate internal teams.
• Maintain organized and accurate inventory records within warehouse tracking systems.
• Investigate and help resolve issues involving incorrect shipments, damaged goods, or delivery and customs-related delays.
• Follow applicable international shipping standards, export requirements, and documentation rules to support compliant operations.
• Assist with warehouse support tasks such as staging, organizing, and handling incoming and outgoing materials as needed.• At least 2 years of experience in inventory, shipping and receiving, or warehouse logistics.
• Hands-on knowledge of international shipping processes and related documentation requirements.
• Experience preparing shipments through parcel and freight carriers, including UPS and other logistics providers.
• Ability to perform receiving inspections and verify product accuracy against supporting documents.
• Familiarity with inventory recordkeeping and updating warehouse or shipping systems accurately.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple shipments and deadlines effectively.
• Comfortable working on-site in a warehouse environment and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
