Clinical - Medical Assistant

Responsibilities

Greet and room patients with professionalism and compassion

Assist with scheduling appointments and answer phones to support front office operations

Take vital signs and perform initial patient assessments

Draw blood and administer vaccines as needed

Provide clinical support to healthcare providers and staff

Ensure accurate documentation and maintain Electronic Medical Records (EMR)

Support health education and outreach initiatives

Required Skills

At least 1 year of medical assistant experience (including externship)

Proficiency in phlebotomy/venipuncture and Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems

Excellent communication skills for effective patient interactions

Attention to detail in clinical tasks and documentation

Strong computer skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

Additional Skills & Requirements

Medical Assistant Certification preferred

Occupational health experience strongly preferred

Experience with vaccine administration and blood draws highly desirable

Ability to work flexible schedules, including specific shift dates in June and July 2026

Comfort working in a clinical environment with a focus on health education and community outreach
