Pay rate: $28-30/hr on W2.

JOB DESCRIPTION

We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer I to support combination product testing in a laboratory environment. The selected candidate will perform product testing, analyze data, prepare reports, maintain laboratory equipment and supplies, and ensure compliance with quality systems and standard operating procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform sample receipt, identification, storage, and shipping

Execute product and equipment testing using established protocols

Analyze test data using Excel, JMP, MiniTab, or similar tools

Prepare and review test reports and documentation

Maintain laboratory supplies, equipment, and cleanliness

Follow GLP, cGMP, ISO, ASTM standards, and SOPs

Support quality investigations, CAPA, deviations, and documentation

Collaborate with internal teams and communicate project updates

Required Qualifications:

Associate's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering/science field

0–2 years of laboratory, medical device, pharmaceutical, or testing experience

Knowledge of GLP, cGMP, ISO, or ASTM standards is a plus

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis tools

Strong attention to detail, organizational, and communication skills

Ability to work in a fast-paced laboratory environment
