Job Description
Bachelor's degree from an ASHA-accredited university, active Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) license and minimum 1+ years speech-language pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This flexible assignment offers the chance to work 3 to 4 days per week, creating an enriching environment for growth and development. Your skills may include working as or towards credentials such as SLPA, SLP-CCC, SLP-CFY, or extending your expertise into teletherapy or healthcare settings. You will be joining a collaborative school team dedicated to helping every child find their voice and boost their confidence.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Active (or eligibility for) SLPA or SLP license in Maine
- Experience or strong interest in K-5 student populations
- Background in school or pediatric speech therapy service delivery (on-site or through teletherapy)
- Strong communication and organizational abilities
- Adaptability for in-person or virtual service as needed
- Open to clinical fellows (CFY) with appropriate supervision
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language therapy to elementary students
- Conduct screenings and assessments per IEP/504 requirements
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized therapy plans
- Collaborate with teachers and other specialists to maximize student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation for compliance and progress tracking
- Engage families in the therapeutic process to support student success
