Warehouse Order Selector - 2nd Shift

Rightstone is looking for a Warehouse Order Selector in Katy, TX. The pay rate is $18.50/hr. for an initial 3-month contract with a dedicated Monday–Friday schedule, strong "Temp-to-Perm" conversion potential, and fully paid equipment operation training.

In this role, you will joina global leader in electrical distribution, at our high-efficiency facility off Commerce Parkway. As a critical member of our 2nd shift fulfillment team, you will be a key person responsible for ensuring the absolute speed and accuracy of outgoing orders. This position blends active inventory pulling and computer-driven logistics with the opportunity to upgrade your professional skill set by learning to safely operate Power Industrial Trucks (PIT). This is an ideal role for an active, detail-oriented team player looking for a stable evening shift with an industry giant.

What you will do

• Utilize digital customer pick tickets to select, pull, and stage complex electrical parts and inventory accurately and efficiently.
• Perform high-volume picking, packing, and structural loading of items to prepare shipments for next-day distribution.
• Inspect, verify, and receive inbound freight, carefully cross-checking deliveries against physical purchase orders to eliminate discrepancies.
• Utilize advanced RF Scanner Guns to scan barcodes, manage item tracking, and maintain real-time digital inventory levels.
• Safely assemble, package, custom label, and palletize bulk materials for secure regional routing and warehouse storage.
• Learn to safely operate advanced warehouse machinery through our fully provided Power Industrial Truck (PIT) equipment training program.
• Uphold elite facility standards by completing logistics tracking paperwork and executing daily general housekeeping routines.

What we’re looking for

• A dependable professional who is fully committed to a stable evening schedule (Monday through Friday, 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM).
• Prior practical experience or knowledge of high-volume warehouse order picking, packing, or cross-docking workflows.
• Strong physical stamina to stand, walk, and navigate a multi-temperature industrial environment throughout an 8-hour shift.
• Ability to frequently lift, push, and slide heavy cargo packages weighing up to 70 lbs.
• A sharp eye for detail to quickly identify packaging defects, wrong part numbers, or order inconsistencies.
• Safety-first worker who arrives daily in compliance with dress code (Steel-Toe Shoes/Boots and a professional top that covers the shoulders).

This is a temporary/contract position. While benefits (Health, 401k, PTO) are not provided during the contract period, they may become available upon successful conversion to a permanent role.
