- Beds: 24 \n
- Shift: 12-hour shifts (7:00 AM/PM start) \n
- EMR: Epic \n
- Orientation: 2 unit shifts \n
- \n
- BLS \n
- ACLS \n
- \n
- IMCU: 1:3 (Days), 1:4 (Nights) \n
- ICU-level acuity may require 1:2 or 1:1 \n
- Float assignments up to 1:5 when floating to Tele/IMCU \n
- \n
- CVA (including post-TPA) \n
- AAA \n
- MI (diagnostic cath only) \n
- Hypertension \n
- GI Bleeds \n
- Septic Shock \n
- Atrial Fibrillation with RVR \n
- External Temporary Pacemakers \n
- ECOS \n
- Whipple procedures \n
- Drug/Alcohol overdose and detox (including Precedex) \n
- High-acuity behavioral health and homeless populations \n
- \n
- Titrate all critical drips \n
- Interpret telemetry strips \n
- Care for high-acuity IMCU patients \n
- Experience with BiPAP and critical care monitoring preferred \n
- \n
- Charge Nurse (generally no patient assignment) \n
- CNA support (1:8) \n
- Monitor Technicians (RN interpretation required) \n
- Phillips IntelliVue monitors \n
- AVEA ventilators \n
- 24/7 Hospitalist \n
- IV Team (days) and Resource Nurse (nights) \n
- 24/7 Respiratory Therapy \n
- 24/7 Pharmacy support \n
- \n
- Every other weekend \n
- Every other holiday \n
- \n
- Caribbean Blue scrubs \n
- Black or Caribbean Blue pants \n
- Black or white undershirts permitted \n
Candidate Requirements To be considered, candidates must: Have an accurate and up-to-date profile Have prior travel nursing experience Have Epic experience Be available for the scheduled orientation date Have minimal RTO (none during the first 2 weeks) Not be working another assignment while accepting this contract Hold all required certifications
