\nDirect Hire | Full-Time | Night Shift
\nBehavioral Health Registered Nurses provide compassionate, patient-centered psychiatric nursing care in an inpatient behavioral health setting. Nurses are responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care while collaborating with physicians, treatment teams, patients, and families to support recovery and positive outcomes.

Position Overview
\nPermanent, full-time role
\n36 hours per week
\nNight shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
\nThree 12-hour shifts per week
\nPsychiatric unit

Responsibilities
\nProvide comprehensive psychiatric nursing care through assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation
\nMaintain timely and accurate documentation within the patient medical record
\nParticipate in treatment team meetings and development of patient recovery plans
\nAdminister prescribed medications and treatments safely and accurately
\nDevelop and maintain therapeutic relationships with patients, families, physicians, and staff
\nRecognize and appropriately respond to behavioral health concerns using therapeutic interventions
\nConduct patient groups and document participation and outcomes
\nFollow hospital policies regarding restraint and seclusion procedures
\nAssist with patient admissions, discharges, and transfers
\nSupport unit operations and maintain appropriate staffing levels when needed

Requirements
\nGraduate of an accredited ASN or BSN nursing program
\nActive Indiana RN license
\nBLS certification
\nPrevious RN experience preferred
\nStrong communication and interpersonal skills
\nAbility to build therapeutic relationships with behavioral health patients
\nKnowledge of psychiatric nursing principles, psychopathology, growth and development, and psychosocial systems
