American Traveler is hiring an Occupational Therapist for an outpatient position split across two Michigan locations, requiring strong pediatric experience and a valid Michigan OT license.

  • Outpatient setting split between two facilities located approximately 17 miles apart in Marshall, MI and Battle Creek, MI
  • \n
  • Day shift, 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week
  • \n
  • Caseload includes adult and pediatric patients
  • \n
  • 13-week contract
  • \n
  • No on-call requirements
  • \n
  • Holiday coverage required as needed
  • \n
Requirements\n
    \n
  • Active Michigan OT license required (license required if applicable)
  • \n
  • Minimum 1 year of OT experience with adult and pediatric populations
  • \n
  • Strong pediatric experience required
  • \n
  • LTC or SNF setting experience required
  • \n
  • Active AHA BLS certification required
  • \n
  • Valid driver's license, clean driving record, and access to a personal insurable vehicle required
  • \n
  • 1 supervisory signed reference from within the past 2 years required for consideration
  • \n
  • Occupational Therapy Skills Checklist current within 1 year required for consideration
  • \n
  • Previous travel experience preferred
  • \n
Additional Information\n
    \n
  • Plans and administers medically prescribed OT treatment programs to restore function, relieve pain, and prevent disability following disease, injury, or loss of body part
  • \n
  • Candidate must not reside within 50 miles of either facility
  • \n
  • Business casual attire or solid scrubs required
  • \n
  • All RTO requests must be submitted upfront; no more than 5 days of RTO will be approved, and requests made after submission will not be considered
  • \n
