BHS Workforce is seeking a travel nurse RN Cardiac Cath Lab for a travel nursing job in Los Angeles, California.

Requirements:
\n- \n
- Active RN license in state of practice (or compact license as applicable) \n
- BSN preferred; ADN accepted per facility policy \n
- BLS and ACLS certification required \n
- RCIS certification preferred \n
- 1+ years of cath lab experience required \n
- Ability to respond to emergent/on-call cases (cath lab roles often require call coverage) \n
Duties:
\n- \n
- Provide nursing care and monitoring for patients undergoing cardiac catheterization procedures (diagnostic angiograms, PCI/stent placements, device implants) \n
- Monitor patient vital signs and hemodynamic status throughout procedures, alerting the team to changes \n
- Administer medications, sedation, and contrast media per physician orders and protocol \n
- Assist physicians during procedures, including circulating and monitoring roles \n
- Prepare and educate patients pre-procedure; provide recovery care and discharge instructions post-procedure \n
- Manage vascular access sites, including sheath removal and hemostasis per protocol \n
- Respond to emergent complications (arrhythmias, hemorrhage, vasovagal reactions) with appropriate interventions \n
- Collaborate with cardiologists, cath lab techs, and interdisciplinary team on plan of care \n
- Accurately document assessments, interventions, medications, and patient response in the EMR \n
