We are looking for a Fee-For-Service/1099 Attending Physician/Medical Director for our facility in Siler City, NC. The work schedule is flexible, with an expected commitment of 16-20 hours per week.
Position DetailsThis role combines the responsibilities of an Attending Physician and Medical Director, focusing primarily on clinical duties. Candidates must be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine, with experience in Long-Term Care.

ResponsibilitiesThe Attending Physician collaborates with the Center Medical Director to ensure that clinical services align with our organization's mission. This involves working with designated Centers and management to oversee the implementation, utilization, and evaluation of our Clinical Programs and established standards of care.
The Attending Physician reports primarily to the Regional Medical Director and is also accountable to the Center's Administrator and Medical Director due to their regulatory responsibilities.
- Assume full responsibility for patients under their care.
- Adhere to the credentialing process of our organization.
- Conduct timely visits to assigned patients in accordance with organizational policies.
- Follow guidelines related to organizational initiatives.
- Abide by the Medical Staff's "Rules and Regulations."
- Comply with our organization's "Corporate Integrity" policies.
- Ensure a complete history and physical examination is documented within 72 hours of patient admission.
- Provide high-quality care to all assigned patients.
- Collaborate closely with the Center Medical Director to enhance care quality.
- Serve as a role model for fellow physicians and staff.
- Communicate the organization's mission to community and professional groups.
- Facilitate relationships and coordinate care with local hospitals and relevant institutions.
- Exhibit compassion and care to ensure high-quality service for all customers.
- Follow the organization's Time Off and On Call policies.
- Perform additional duties as required.
Adhere to all applicable legal standards, policies, and procedures, including those related to the Compliance Process, Code of Conduct, Federal False Claims Act, and HIPAA.
- Participate in mandatory orientation and training sessions.
- Report any concerns or suspected compliance issues to management or the Compliance Officer.
- Cooperate with monitoring, auditing, and investigative functions.
M.D. or D.O. degree is required.
Board Certification in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine is preferred, with ongoing certification maintenance.
Specialization in Geriatrics is a plus.
We offer a competitive salary range of USD $75,000.00 - USD $100,000.00 per year.
