Description\n

American Traveler is seeking a Chemo Certified Oncology RN for a 13-week travel assignment requiring at least 2 years of experience, ACLS, BLS, and Chemo certifications, and an active NJ or Compact RN license.

• Oncology unit within a cancer center environment
\n
• Patient population includes hematological malignancies, bone marrow transplant, CAR-T therapy, solid oncology diagnoses, and chemotherapy administration
\n
• Patient ratio of 1:4
\n
• Day shift, 3x12-hour shifts (7:00–19:30)
\n
• Every other weekend required
\n
• Floating required within scope of skillset across both the cancer center and main campus as needed
\n
• Charting via Epic (experience required)
\n

Requirements\n

\n
• Active NJ or Compact RN license required
\n
• Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and Chemotherapy (Chemo)
\n
• Minimum 2 years of oncology RN experience required
\n
• Chemotherapy administration experience required
\n
• Epic EMR experience required
\n
• SSN and DOB required for consideration
\n
• Two current professional references required
\n
• Copy of all certifications required for consideration
\n

Additional Information\n

• Administer chemotherapy and provide care for complex oncology patients including those undergoing bone marrow transplant and CAR-T therapy
\n
• Local candidates are accepted at the same rate
\n
• All time-off requests must be submitted and approved prior to an offer being made — no block scheduling approved
\n
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply

• Former employees of the RWJBH health system (full-time or PRN) must have been separated from the system for a minimum of 1 year before being eligible for a travel assignment
