Description\n

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Home Health position requiring at least 2 years of recent experience and prior travel assignment history.

• Home Health unit assignment
\n
• 13-week contract
\n
• Day shift schedule, Monday-Friday 8:00 AM-5:00 PM (5x8 hours)
\n
• On-call responsibilities required, approximately 7-10 on-call shifts per month
\n
• May float between like units and campuses within a 20-mile radius, though cross-campus floating is rare
\n

Requirements\n

\n
• Active RN license in the state or a compact RN license compliant with NLC guidelines
\n
• TN or compact RN license required
\n
• Minimum 2 years of recent experience required; 3+ years preferred
\n
• At least 1 completed prior travel assignment required
\n
• EPIC experience required
\n
• ADN accepted for this position
\n
• Driver's license copy required for consideration
\n
• Vaccination status documentation required
\n
• Documented certification renewal plan required if certifications expire during the assignment
\n

Additional Information\n

\n
• Must reside at least 100 miles from the facility, no local candidates accepted
\n
• First-time travelers are not eligible for this position
\n
• Former permanent staff must be separated from the facility for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler
\n
• Former travelers who completed a full-year assignment must wait 1 full year before returning
\n
• If Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's all fall during the assignment, must be willing to work 2 of the 3 holidays
\n
• If only 2 of these holidays fall during the assignment, must be willing to work at least 1 of the 2
\n
• All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted with the initial application, as RTO requested after an offer will not be honored
