Experience

- Minimum 8 years of clinical nursing experience - Required \n
- Minimum 3 years of experience in chart review, utilization review, risk management, quality services, or related field - Required \n
- Experience with utilization management (UM), case management (CM), and discharge care planning (DCP) - Required \n
- Experience reviewing medical necessity, level of care, length of stay, and reimbursement requirements - Required \n
- Experience collaborating with physicians, leadership, and interdisciplinary teams - Required \n
- Experience with patient progression, discharge planning, and care coordination - Required \n
- Experience processing denials, appeals, utilization review documentation, and payer communications - Required \n
- Knowledge of CMS regulations, medical necessity review, reimbursement guidelines, ICD-9, CPT coding, medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and disease processes - Required \n
- Strong assessment, organizational, communication, leadership, and critical thinking skills - Required \n
License
