Job Summary\nCuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - Emergency Room to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.
Responsibilities\n- \n
- Provide compassionate and efficient care to an average of 25 patients per day in a Level 3 Trauma Center environment. \n
- Maintain a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:4-5 based on acuity, ensuring patient safety and care quality. \n
- Collaborate with techs and support staff to assist in triage and maintain smooth unit operations. \n
- Perform point of care lab testing and manage standard ER medication drips. \n
- Ensure compliance with EPIC charting and complete all assigned documentation accurately. \n
- Adapt to variable scheduling needs, including every other weekend shifts and holiday rotations. \n

- Current RN license in the state of Colorado or capability to obtain prior to assignment start. \n
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications from the American Heart Association. \n
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS), and Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certifications required. \n
- Experience in acute care settings, preferably in emergency rooms. \n
- Ability to read and interpret telemetry without the assistance of monitor techs. \n
