\nAssociate Director, Maintenance and Reliability Engineering
\nAs the Associate Director – MRE, you will oversee the maintenance and reliability of numerous buildings across your assigned business vertical. You will take a hands-on approach to leadership, effectively engaging, motivating, and coaching team members. Partnering with the M&RE senior leadership team, you will define, develop and deliver the maintenance roadmap and set the standard for operational efficiency within your business vertical.

- Oversee MRE-related processes including maintenance of automation and manufacturing equipment, electrical, refrigeration, PIT equipment (forklifts), building, grounds, and overall upkeep of numerous buildings \n
- Motivate, engage, coach, and inspire a team of managers and technicians, creating a positive team dynamic that encourages all employees to provide feedback and drive change from within \n
- Provide project management and support as assigned for key strategic and building level projects \n
- Manage outside vendors and facilitate planned and unplanned repairs \n
- Ensure that maintenance regulations are followed \n
- Identify problems and brainstorm improvement strategies for the fulfillment centers \n
- Drive cross-departmental engagement and collaboration on new projects and retrofits \n

- 8+ years managing maintenance/operations and reliability within the Food/Beverage/Perishables/Distribution industry or equivalent experience \n
- Bachelor's Degree preferred; high school diploma or GED required \n
- Effective leader and communicator for employees, direct reports, cross-functional teams, and executives \n
- High level of integrity and ethics with excellent follow-up and follow-through \n
- Interest in engaging directly with all levels of staff \n
- Well-versed in recent OSHA regulations and compliance \n
- Able to read and interpret blueprints, manuals, and schematics \n
- Exposure to refrigeration systems \n
- Knowledgeable in GMP/LEAN and strong continuous improvement and project management skills \n
- Comfortable working in cold environments with some areas of facility at 40F \n
- Excitement for working in a start-up environment with a high level of ambiguity and change \n
- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays and/or nights and travel approximately 50% of the time \n
